Why is there a rivalry between michael jackson and elvis?

Nobody seems to want to admit that he committed suicide and molested children. He was no more than any other drug addict who died from a perscription drug overdose.Just because someone dies does not make them a saint especially when he has done so many despicable things when he was alive

Like him or not he was the most successful entertainer of all time. He broke racial barriers and donated over $350,000,000 to charity. He sold more records than any other artist and created the worlds most successful world tours. His talents of singing, dancing and song writing were out of this world. None of this crap like Chris Brown, Justin Bieber etc.... It's very disappointing that you don't need any talent to be a pop star now. Or being a complete attention whore like most celebrities now.
